  • Tick replay not working

    Hi,

    I'm trying to get tick replay to work. I can save the tick file, but when I select a chart and then the tick file to play I don't get the tick replay dialog box. The chart goes blank and shows $Playback as the symbol, but no Tick Replay dialog is displayed so I can't start the replay. eSignal is still responsive while this occurs and I can change the symbol to something else and the chart loads fine. This is an advanced chart with just the price bars. No studies.

    I tried uninstalling, cleaning out the eSignal directory, cleaning the registry of eSignal entries and winsig entries. Then reinstalling eSignal and rebooting. But after all that I still have the same problem.

    I know other people have tick replay working in version 10, so it's something on my machine. I just don't know what.

    Any ideas?

        Ok, after looking in the INI file and seeing the numbers, I figured out that it was putting the dialog box on my second monitor, which I had turned off! Duh.

        It's working now. Thanks Alex for the pointer.
