  • Using the Dashboard to monitor new sectors

Don't forget that the brand new Dashboard edition of Advanced GET is a *great* way to monitor sectors--you can check out tranches of interesting stocks instantly and it takes only a moment two enter in up to 20 stocks...and you can swap them out just as quickly. You don't need to scan hundreds of charts--with 20 symbols and 5 timeframes (5min, 15min, 60min, Daily, Weekly) you're monitoring 100 charts on one small window...it's a deceptively powerful tool.

    Also monitor the FTSE

    Remember the 80/20 rule...

Well the FTSE is a great example. The top 20 stockspretty much dictate the flow of the FTSE. So why not set up a dashboard with the 20 top FTSE stocks. This way you can see the underlying trends of the market. I use this for identifying the lesser FTSE stocks and find it more benefitial than using a FTSE 100 chart.

          Sector DashBoards UK FTSE

Following the thread here I thought I would post a picture of my sector Dash. I have also padded it out a little with a list of the current symbols and the sector.
