  • Directional MA

Is there a way to define a directional ma (i.e rising 10ma) and then apply alarms/studies to it. I think the formula would be ma1-ma2> then zero for a declining ma and < zero for a rising ma, where ma1 and ma2 are moving averages at two different points in time say 10:01 and 10:02. Thanks

That can easily done with the Formula Wizard.

I wanted to look at two different studies. One that alarms with a color coded bar and sound if say the 25ma or 100ma changes direction. The other would alarm each time(and show a color coded bar on a CCI study) if the CCI reached -100 with a rising 25ma or plus 100 with a declining 25ma. Thanks MK
