CCI Simulation problem

In GET EOD, when you select the CCI as one of the test criteria, I want to find those stocks in a small band between -5 and +5.

I have run the CCI with +5-5 in the input options and it does not seem to work, so I added two separate CCI tests with one ticked as below 5 and the other ticked as above -5 and this did not seem to work either.

Can someone at GET confirm that the CCI can have a negative number entered in the Above category and a positive in the below category. The defaults seem to alway go back to positive numbers in the above and negative numbers in the below fields.

CCI Search

Adding both the CCI +5 and -5 on a single search will not work correctly. (I would consider this a bug in the program and I will submit it as such)

For a work around until we fix this, try the following.

First, run a search for CCI below 5, save the results as a Portfolio, and then using that portfolio, run another search using a CCI above -5. This should get you the results you are looking for

Thanks for the comments - After a few tests I drew the conclusion that there was a bug in GET and rebuilt my search so that I ran two seperate CCI's in the one search along the lines Gary suggested.

Gary if you are passing this CCI problem onto the coders you may also want to check out the stochastic and the RSI because I tried the same trick with each of these to identify a tight band between two numbers and each of these gave screwy results as well. I now run two options of each of these to identify the high and low limits. It would be preferable to to have the high and low in the one search as you suggested.
