  • PDA's and charting

Does anyone know of a good PDA charting package that has all the usual technical indicators

and the wish list ie elliott and a few oscillators for good measure

Quotetrek looks ok however no presence in Australia, as far as I can tell

I have been looking at pocket charts from silicon machines however they seem to have disapeared

    any thoughts??

    Hi Ainsley,

I'm not sure if you've seen all the technical studies that are available through QuoTrek. I'm including a screenshot with just a small portion of them. All the properties of the studies are fully customizable and I can add or remove as many as I like. As you mentioned, Elliott Waves are not implemented just yet, but I'll gladly pass the suggestion along to the Product Development Team.

I'm not sure what you mean by QuoTrek not having a presence in Australia, but if you could explain, we can definitely talk about that and hopefully address any concerns you may have.

      QuoTrek

Thanks for the information, maybe you could answer the question / requirement

Can QuoTrek be used to view a historical file of the PDA as well as pick up the intraday data when needed

What Im trying to do, is
1 store the Australian exchange data on the PDA
2 so I can see any chart with history ie daily / Weekly / Monthly view
3 - Get intraday live quotes on required items (our data costs here are quite high ie 2 cents a kilobyte)

So the theory goes something like this, I do my GET EOD searchs at home and then take my watchlist to work and check through the day using the PDA and the charts to review when the triggers get hit

nice theory, still trying to get it all togethor, maybe Quotrek, can you advise if the product will do what Im after?

      Thanks in advance

        Ainsley,

Yes, you should do your scans at home and then enter the watchlist on to the Quotrek.

The amount of bandwidth is limited to the Quotrek as is the computing and memory.
