I was wondering if the overnight data in the emini can or should be turned off ?

You can turn off the overnight data by making a small change to the symboligy. If you would like to eliminate the overnight data, you can use the symbol ES #F=2 or ES H5=2 to only see the day session in the Advanced Chart window. Hope this helps.
