Just wondering if anybody has a search parameter set up for tracking sideways markets like ADX Search or Stochastics?

Sideways moving markets

Why not try a fractal ie create three displaced moving averages using the moving average option in Advanced Get.

See the attached image, here you will see the three lines clearly showing when the market is going off and when its turning down.

When the market goes sideways it will mix up the lines so you wait and track the stock. When the market starts to move in either direction you will get a clear fractal signal.

A smart fella called Bill Williams created this view, search the net, he has a few good books on it.

But to get you going just create the three lines on the screen and experiment until you like the look and feel

Here you use the fractal moving average and the ellipse as the trigger for an early entry into the wave 3
