Optimize function

What is the purpose of the optimize function for the Gann fans? I don't see any docs for it .

The Optimize function enables the tool to automatically find the best scale at which to plot the Gann Angles.
After you have drawn a Gann Angle on a chart right click on it and apply the optimization. Once you click OK the Gann lines will be redrawn at the scale calculated by the tool.
If you find the optimized angles too narrow or wide or too far from current prices then adjust them manually trying to maintain the ratio of the optimized scale. For example, if the optimized scale was 3.22 and the angles were too narrow you could try using 6.44.

Following up on the prior reply.
In addition to the Optimize button, in the AutoGann Study you also have an Auto Optimize checkbox.
This allows you to have the tool automatically optimize the scale of the Gann Angles every time you change the symbol or interval in that chart.
