Advanced Get and TC-2005

Worden Brothers just came out with their new version of TC2000, now called TC2005. Does anyone know if Advanced Get can read the new TC2005 data format and watchlist

Hi bmaltz,

I haven't tried the straight data export to Advanced Get via TC2005, but there is a way to format the Watchlist in TC2005 so that Advanced Get will read the data.

In TC2005, export the Watchlist to a Text File through the Databank menu. It should be formatted similar to the screenshot below.



Once exported, navigate to the Export folder in the TeleChart directory and copy the file to your desktop or some other location. You will need to rename the file by adding a .txt extension. Once the conversion is complete, you can then import this symbol list into Advanced Get through the Portfolio menu. Hope this helps.
