as i am new to trading could someone tell me if its worth the effort to learn all there is to know about using the elliott wave system as i find that there is only a few waves really worth trading,although i find the subject fascinating . danny

I can tell you that it is worth learning and becoming an expert at it. I use it so much, do you realize how many times a day wave 1 will equal wave 3 or wave 1 will equal wave 5 or wave 2 pullback will be the same as 4 or one of the other many many things you can do with elliott. It is amazing how much it happens in the emini's which I trade. You can also use other inidcators with elliott to confirm the waves, really really get to know how the fibs relate to elliott or you are just spinning your wheels. I count waves all day long and it helps me find tops and bottoms, this is a very very important study.
