  • Problems starting Advanced GET

    I have a new copy of Advanced GET and, once it is up, it runs fine. However, many times if I have other things running, Turbofeed fails to come up. Advanced GET seems to be searching for the eSignal Turbofeed engine. I get the yellow "trying" in the lower right box and a message from Win XP that Turbofeed had a problem. Then I have to kill Advanced GET. If I take down other apps - particularly some Internet Explorer windows - it comes up. I don't know if the problem is localized to just IE or other apps too.

    Any suggestions? Do I have a config parm wrong?

    Sounds like you might be using a firewall or pop-up suppressor? If so try turning them off and you might want to take a look at: http://www.esignalcentral.com/suppor...l/firewall.asp
