  • Hi Marc,

Thanks for the comments. They are much appreciated. More and more I find myself referring back to the weekly interval. I remember a quote by Jack Schwagger that was to the effect of using multiple time frames like a telescope to get a comprehensive view of a particular issue. Move in close for short-term view and expand the view for a wider look at the long-term behavior.

    • I know this is only a very small, minor example of trading something I talked about earlier, but here is an update on BRCD real-time trading example... so far, so good... crossing fingers and toes, hoping not to jinx it.....

Can you post that SMH 30 minute chart again?
          Why?
To see if it shows a WAVE 4 now.
This is the last time I will ask for this chart.

          Thanks in advance

          • Hi,

Yes, SMH 30 min shows now the W4 channels and projects, good PTI.
I put a couple easy tools on to help you visualize the setup.

            Hope it helps.

            • IMPORTANT QUESTION ? (for me(g))
              (1) I have many of my own esf files.
              (2) Can I add my esf files to the GET Charts directly ?

              Thanks in advance

Can you answer this question? Not my strength. Thanks.

(Pretty sure you could, but awaiting Alex's confirmation.)

                    • Hi Larry,

If you have eSignal with GET add-on studies, yes, you can easily add other formulas to the same chart. If you are using the GET EOD software, then no, EFS is not a component of that standalone software package. Hope that answers it.

                      Thanks.

                        • Since I have had Esignal REAL TIME for years, then adding my
own EFS is no problem. GOOD.

Does GET limit my Esignal REAL TIME in any other way ?
If not, then it looks like I will be adding GET to my REAL time.

I have been using a few efs's with no problem.

                            • I created a poll within the Advanced GET forum, where I asked the following question:

"Will the Nasdaq continue to confound people and drift higher from here?"

Even though I have an opinion, I genuinely would like as many people as possible to
please give their vote on this subject within the next week.

I tried to mask my opinion because I do not want to bias anyone. I genuinely want to
get a feel what others are thinking. Please explain why you feel this way after you vote.

(Please do not post your responses here; rather post them in this new thread, please.)

                              Thanks,

                              • Thanks for creating the poll Marc. This one of the more cool, yet under used features of the Bulletin Boards.

For the sake of posting good follow-ups, here is the updated chart of KSS. We’re almost a point away from lower zone of the MOB. I guess time will tell.
