How do you change the viewed symbol?

I type in a new symbol and it comes up on the chart. But..........the display has the new symbol in parentheses and the old symbol is still displayed on the bar!!! How do you coordinate the two. It bugs me huge. I look at chart and have to look twice to see what I have up.

Is there anyway you can capture a picture of your chart so I can see what you are seeing? I am not quiet sure what you mean but if I could see a picture, I might be able to figure out a solution. Also, what software and version are you using. Thanks!

Hello Keith

In the eSignal program, the label that appears on the title bar is the file name for that window. To change the label you need to save the chart under the name you want to see on the bar.

To change the name, click on "File" and then "Save As". Type the new file name (the symbol you are viewing) and then click on "Save".
