  • Advanced Get Pivot

I am looking at a trial of Advanced Get on ESignal right now, and I was doing some backtesting of the "GET:PIVOT listed under Chart Options Advanced GET Studies.

It seems to do pretty well in marking turning points in my backtesting. If anyone knows anything about this, I would like to know what the "P" and the "J" stands for. I am guessing the "P" is Pivot, but I can't guess what the "J" is for.

I had an instructional CD that came with this, and it had some information on some of the other indicators, such as stochastics, RSI, etc, but I couldn't find anything on the GET : PIVOT, and this really looks promising......(I am also curious what it is based on).

P is for Primary, J for Major, I for Intermediate and M for Minor.
For more information on this and other GET studies click here and select the link to the Reference Guide to Advanced GET Studies

      Iryb --

PIVOTS are nice -- but, study the TYPE1/TYPE2 (Elliott waves) and XTL. Those are the best tools in AGET.

      Good luck w/ it!
