Volume & price definition

With regards to searchs and volume

what im looking for is the connection between price change and market direction

for example, another member (philby) made mention that a stock moves via the sequence

1 - volume
2- rate of change
3- momentum
4- and the last being the price

with this in mind, Im trying to create a search that can pick the rising interest and show stocks that should be tracked to the opportunity.

with this in mind, Im aiming for the type 2 buy, ie the wave 4 locked in and catch the turnaround for an early entry.

So the search i've selected is

Price Change
Price Range
New High
RSI
MACD
Volume Percent
Average Volume

if anyone can add to this and improve that would be great

You may want to take a look at the ADX or Directional Movement indicator portion of the Advanced Get Scanner. It may or may not help your current strategy, but I thought I would chime in with my thoughts on your post. Thanks.
