    Dear eSignal Delayed, End-of-Day, & Wizard Subscribers:

    Effective Thursday, April 15, 2004, we will be streamlining our server farm and moving all Delayed and End-of-Day (EOD) subscribers to our newly upgraded server farm. Your subscription fee will remain unchanged but we need you to update your eSignal software to adjust for the new IP address.

    To make this transition as easy as possible, we have set-up a choice of two methods for updating your eSignal Data Manager and pointing to the correct and updated IP address. You can either alter the IP address manually or run a simple patch designed for this specific purpose.

    To change the IP address manually, please complete these steps:

    1) Open eSignal End-of-Day.

    2) From the taskbar, at the bottom of your screen, click on the Data Manager so it opens.

    3) Click on "Receiver" at the top left, then "Communications". This will open the Communications Settings window.

    4) Just to the right of the eSignal CM IP Address is the address for our servers. Please change this from DCM*.esignal.Com to CM*.esignal.Com (just remove the "D").

    5) Click OK, then minimize the Data Manager, and you're finished!

    To download a patch and automatically change the address, please follow these simple steps:

    1) Before installing the service pack, please print out the instructions found at this site here.

    2) Open the new Server Service Pack by going to this link. The Server Service Pack will update the IP Address in the eSignal Data Manager and direct your eSignal application to the new server farm.

    Remember, to avoid interruption in service, you must install the Server Service Pack before Thursday, April 15, 2004. The new server farm is already in place, so please upgrade as soon as possible.

    If you are having trouble connecting with the Data Wizard, eSignal EOD or eSignal Delayed service, please adjust your IP address according to the earlier announcement.

      Another Reminder.

      Users should also check their email boxes as we've sent at least two notices to all impacted subscribers. If you did not get an email message from us, please log onto Account Maintenance and check to make sure that we have your correct email address on file.
