Removing unwanted scroll bars

Recently I've had an occasional problem with scroll bars appearing unexpectedly... a vertical bar on the right and a horizontal across the bottom (obscuring the date bar).
I found I could remove them by clicking on window>cascade, then click page>previous page. The bars would go away, only to re-appear later if I changed the time interval.

Today after I downloaded EOD, all of the charts have the scroll bars, even if I reload a previous template. Nothing makes them go away. Any ideas? Why do they appear? How do I remove them? How do I prevent them fro re-occuring?

It sounds to me as if your eSignal layout was created in a larger size than what you have now. If the eSignal window isn't maximized, try that and see if the scroll bars don't go away.

Alternatively, I believe you should be able to Arrange the screen and that will adjust the sizes of the charts so they all fit without scroll bars. That should set them for the window size you have currently. If the window is made smaller, then scroll bars will reappear.

Try that and see if it works.

I have no idea how, after several momths of use, the sizing of the chart changed. But it appears that you were exactly right. When I clicked on the minimize button, the scroll bars disappeared, and the charts were back to the right size. You really know your stuff.
