When Recalculate End Of A Major

I am really new at AdvGet so pardon this basic question.

Looking at daily ELN after close today.

I see major wave 4 labeled at the recent pivot low before today's trading. Today had a close below the wave 4 tail. Since wave 4 was a down wave and today is even lower, why doesn't the 4 label move to today and shouldn't it have happened during the day as soon as today dipped below the low of the wave 4 label (4/30/04)?

I have watched thousands of wave count movements over the years. The best explanation is this is an 'anomoly' with no obvious explanation. Bet you the wave count will shift very soon to the newer low, probably tomorrow.
