  • Unable to connect to Remote TurboFeed DataManager

    Hi there!

    I haven't been able to use any of the tutorials as I seem to have problems using/understanding the TurboFeed DataManager.
    This opens up with AdvancedGet automatically but then a little window pops up saying

    Error
    Local TurboFeed DataManager is unable to connect to Remote TurboFeed DataManager

    Meanwhile the TurboFeed DataManager says it's operating Normally
    NewsServer: NA
    Reception: NODATA
    Password: NONE

    What am I doing Wrong?

    What is the purpose of this TurboFeed DataManager?

    I also cannot open anything in my Advanced Get.... It only says File Page View Help on the top and when I try to click on anything within File (example - New Chart...) nothing happens...

    Is there clear instructions and explanations anywhere? Can someone help me out?

    I've already been to http://www.esignalcentral.com/univer...efault.asp#get
    the video training page and watched some but I can't open even a new chart so I'm feeling rather frustrated.

      Hello Chris

      Most likely you need to change the IP address listed in the eSignal (Turbo feed) Data Manager.

      Bring up the eSignal Turbo feed Data Manger window.
      Click on “Receiver” then “Communications”.
      This should open the “Communications Settings” window.
      Change the IP Address to CM*.ESIGNAL.COM then click OK.
      The Data Manager should now connect.
      Minimize the Data Manger window and you should have a connection in GET.
