    Hi eSignal Support,

I had reported this problem yesterday. Can you let me know what the status is on this problem?
Take a look at the 5-min chart of $TVOLQ

Our Engineers are rolling out a fix tonight that will correct the fluctuations with $TVOLQ. $TVOLQ should be ok once the market opens tomorrow. Thanks again for your continued patience.

                  Sajal,

$TVOLQ was corrected before yesterday's session, and the symbol updated correctly throughout yesterday's market. Thank you for your patience, and if we can be of further assistance, please let us know.
                  Regards,
                  Jay F.

Looks like the problem has returned

Yesterday (Mar 6) was fine, but today shows a reset at 11:00am.

Our Engineers have been alerted to this matter. Unfortunately no changes can be made until the markets have closed. They have assured us that the fix will be finalized by Monday (3/10/03). We appreciate your continued patience.

Apparently whatever the fix was, isn't effective and the sad part is the problem has been lingering for over a week. Please let the enginners know that no matter how NASDAQ or any other source routes its data, the data should arrive accurately to the users thru eSignal. Statistical rarity should not be taken into account in assuming something like..."Users can live with such rare events once in a while".
Let's see how well the fix will be from Monday onward...as you are assuring.

We definitely understand your concerns. The programming involved to fix $TVOLQ was more involved than originally thought. Data accuracy and reliabilty is of the utmost importance to us at all times and we'll continue to monitor this until the issue is fully resolved.

                          Thank you,
                          Ray P.
