Excel Macro for real time tick analysis

Anyone willing to share an Excel macro using DDE to capture / analyze realtime tick data? I can set up a cell with the WINROS DDE function call, but I want to capture the last n ticks into an array for analysis. Or is this something that can only be done using eSignal's ActiveX product?
