Volume for CBOT commodities & pit traded futures contracts ?

Hi,
when displaying CBOT agricultural futures contracts (B, O, S, C, W, RR, SM, etc) or pit traded notes (TY, US, FV etc), i have observed that no volume data is available, ie on a tick chart, the volume is zero, and on intraday charts (5 min, 30 min..), it looks like the volume shown is equal to the number of trades per period (assuming each trade size is one contract).
Is this observation correct ?
If yes, are they plan to get the actual realtime volume data ?
