  • chart on e-mini future options

Does e signal provide a chart on the daily bid & ask prices associated with a specific e -mini s&p futures option? For instance I want to track the bid & ask on the e-mini future April 910 call and on the e-mini future April 830 put.

hi alexis....you said to look at "How do I get intra-day charts for options?

Our servers do not store historical data on any Options; however,
eSignal will collect the ticks as they are received. So, if you want to have
an intra-day chart for any option, open up a tick chart with the specific
option symbol and then, as trading occurs, eSignal will fill-in the data. If
your system fails, you close the window for any reason, or change the
symbol, you will lose the data collected and need to start over. "

I opened up Futures_tick.ch and I am not sure how to add the e-mini
s&p future option for an April 910 call. I believe this has a specific
option symbol of "esj3 c0910" but I am not sure of that. If you have
Windows Messenger I would give you Remote Assistance so you can see my
screen and show me how to get the tick info. Thanks...ps my Windows
      Messenger name is [email protected]

First of all I think the symbol you are looking for is ES J3C910.
However in looking at the Vol in the Quote window it does not seem like it is actively traded. Never the less the chart recognizes it (as indicated by the green OK).
Just to make sure that one can chart ticks (incl. Bid/Ask)I have also opened a window for SPX APR850C which I know is printing trades (see image below).

What you may want to do is open a Quote Window and type the option symbols in long form there.
Then create a regular chart and enable the link (if not already on).
Set the chart to Tick and if you also want to see the Bid/Ask press the B/A icon in the toolbar.
For help with symbols on futures and options on futures click on the following link

        Hope this helps
