Futures Spreads Format

How do I enter a Futures spread into a quote window or chart window?

example Crude Oil December 2006 - December 2005

I tried entering the following and got messed up numbers.
CL Z6 - CL Z5

What is the format to enter Futures Spreads and get a correct result?

In the main menu click Tools-> Spread Symbol Settings and in the dialog box set up the spread assigning it a name of your choice and setting the number of decimals to display (see first image).
Then in the Advanced Chart you can call up that spread by using the name you assigned to it as the symbol (see second image)
