$xau & $hui Volume

hello

I know there is a logical answer, but I can not come up with it.

Why does the $xau and $hui have volume on the minute charts but not the daily/weekly charts? If you look at an Acc/Dist line on the minute charts it seems to fit it pretty well with the price movements?

any thoughts?

The exchanges do not provide volume data for those symbols (see image for XAU taken from the CBOE site). The intraday volume you see is tick volume. See also this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase.
