  • No Correct Data For 2-3 Weeks?

My thanks to Jay for his message under North American Futures. I trade the indices-not the minis-& still continue to see spikes up/down with 30 minute lag time. Does his message mean that my data won't be "fixed" for 2-3 weeks until the new equipment is installed? Thank you.

    Diane,

To better answer your question, we'll need to know more details about what you are seeing delays on. Could you clarify the symbols you are referring to?
    Regards,

      Hi Jay,
Thanks for responding. Right now I'm trading the Russell 2000. I have an open bar at 690 at 0830(CT). Then I have some bars going down to 681.25. The time looks like it might 9:00 or 9:30. Next I have a spike up to 690.50 about 10:00( no bars). Then I show spike down to 684.25 with 2 bars around that amount at 11:30 & no data since. Thank you.
      Diane

      1500- Just got 685 bar.

            Diane,

It sounds to me like you are using AB Z5. This contract has expired, and you should switch over to using AB H6.

Not only has this contract expired, but the majority of trading shifted over to H6 on December 8th (8 days prior to the third Friday.)
            Regards,
            Jay F.

              Hi Jay,
You were right. I am sooo embarrassed! I can't believe I didn't change over to the new contract. Thanks for being so alert to my oversight.

Not to worry, Diane. Many, many traders (including myself) have had this same event happen to them in one way or another.
