Well, here it is, August and still NO put call ratios. Just for sh!ts & grins, can someone come on here and tell us how it's now on the latest development list and will be provided soon? How this is headlining the 8.1 features and we'll see it any day now, just be patient....

Put/Call Ratios

Any news on when we might get the put/call ratios?????

Hi George,

We have de-coupled put/call ratios from the official 8.1 release so we can deliver those ASAP. The symbols have been live in our lab environment for over a month and we hope to release them on Friday 10/6/06. We should be able to confirm that target date later next week.

Actually, yes we do have the symbols available. They are listed in KB Article 2262. Side note: there are some edits to some of the text that need to be made but the symbol list is good.

I was wondering if the P/C ratios available yet? I noitced that the last date you gave was 6 Oct. I have tried the symbols per your last post but they do not seem to work. I was not sure if that was due to unavailablity or my subscription.

The various Put/Call symbols that Scott mentioned will firmly take hold in eSignal 8.1. We hope to have them available as soon as possible prior to the launch, but in the meantime we wanted to provide a roadmap to what will be available on this highly requested feature.

As soon as there is any new information regarding this, we'll update this thread as well as the aforementioned KB Article.

Put/Call ratios are now scheduled for early next week. Hope to be able to announce good news as early as Tuesday. Despite the delays in officially releasing these new symbols, we have been storing data on them for quite sometime so at least more history will be available once released.

We have some very good news to report today. We have launched our new put/call ratios within our Hayward Data Center. These symbols are now available for viewing.

The official release date and announcement will be made in another week or two for the following reasons:

1. We will release these symbols within our Boxborough Data Center at the end of next week. So, if we have to switch next week to Boxborough, these symbols will stop updating.

2. The daily history data has yet to be moved from the lab to production servers but will be by next week.

So, initially, this could be called the beta period and they will go "gold" in another 1-2 weeks.

There is no additional charge for these new stats and while considered a new enhancement to 8.1, these symbols should work on all 7.xx versions (although not tested as of yet).
