$SPX Realtime?

Can I get the $SPX realtime vs. my current setup with a 15 sec. delay?

FWIW the 15 seconds[listed in the Symbol Guide] are not a delay but the update frequency of the $SPX which I believe is set by the CBOE

Hi Kevin,

The $SPX is real-time. The CBOE calculates and disseminates it every 15 seconds. That is the tightest interval that any vendor will report that index. Hope this helps.

I'm reasonably confident that the SPX posted by CBOE is not a 15 second delayed quote but is the latest snapshot. I've approximated a real-time index using some of the underlying components and there is very little difference between the two.
