    Vienna Stock Exchange: wrong Index data, no data for equities

    As of today, data of the Vienna Stock Exchange is corrupt:
    - no data for all equities is delivered!!
    - ATX carries completely wrong data: we are getting lasts of ~305, but the index is on 4580!!!

    Please correct the problem asap!!!

      Mr. Fresacher,

      The engineers have unfortunately not been able to solve the problem yet. We hope though that the feed for tomorrow's trading returns to normal. Updates will be posted at http://forum.esignalcentral.com/show...threadid=23679.

      $AT0000999982-VIE shows indeed a wrong price. Even this is being looked at by the department in charge.

        PS: $AT0000999982-VIE is correct on T&S and intraday charts. I have no further information at the moment what causes the real time data on quote windows to be incorrect.

          Mr. Fresacher,

          The engineers have solved the problem, and real time data is now streaming again. The source of the issue was a symbology change at the exchange.

          It remains to correct the daily bars for $AT0000999982-VIE. Further, it is unlikely that we will be able to recover intraday data for all instruments. Engineers are though looking at the possibility to do so.

            Dear Elmar,

            thank you, we've already noticed in the morning that the issue has been solved.

            Nevertheless the fact that eSignal has not managed to solve the outage for two entire trading days is very disappointing for us.

            We have also been in contact with the Vienna Stock Exchange and they want to stress out that there was NO symbology change at the exchange as stated in your post. In addition they point out that there have been no technical difficulties with their pricing contribution feeds to data vendors.

            Actually we have been told by eSignal support that there was a problem in eSignal's own application code which was corrected yesterday evening.

              Mr. Fresacher,

              We appreciate that the time frame for correction should have been shorter.

              The initial information I personally received was referring to symbology changes from the source which is indeed the exchange. This implied that mapping changes needed to be addressed from our end.

              I'll though post additional clarifying information as soon as available.
