XAU by contributor?

Hello,

why is it not possible to get charts by contributor for precious metals?

For example, EUR@COES A0-FX works, but XAU@COES A0-FX doesnt.

I can see contributor COES contribute to the XAU A0-FX composite symbol in the symbol-monitor, but i cant display XAU@COES.

This is either a missing feature or a bug in the software. I'll enquire with the developers and update the post as soon as I know more.

Single contributor quotes for XAU and XAG are actually not in the feed, i.e. if you try to retrieve data for XAU@ODSE A0-FX on the data manager (File --> Symbol monitor), you will not receive any. The department in charge has been made aware of this, but there is no guarantee that they will be added in short term.

Ok, i think it would make sense tho. I use eSignal for charting, and do order-entry with the frontend of my broker. Unfortunatly, i cannot do this for XAU trades at the moment. I can chart XAU A0-FX, but quotes are (understandably) all over the place in the composite symbol. In my opinion enabling single contributors would improve eSignals XAU/XAG spot data quite a bit.
