  • Tick Data!

OK, not only is the Bollinger Band drift backhttp://forum.esignalcentral.com/show...ght=band+drift but now 2 of the 4 markets I watch with tick data are no updating at all or showing any historical information as of 1840EDT, 03.23.08. 6B, NQ are not updating on tick charts while 6E and 6J are. All of these are on CME so it is NOT an exchange issue.

I am including some general troubleshooting below:
    1. Close eSignal AND Data Manager

    2. Open the RUN dialogue box - hold the windows key and press R - Type in CMD - At the command line type in:

ipconfig /flushdns - if it is successful close the command line window.

    3. Start Data Manager - Start>All Programs>eSignal>Data Manager - wait for this to turn green.

    4. Start eSignal - Start>All Programs>eSignal>eSignal

    5. Quickly go to a new page (Page>New Page) and load a new chart (File>New>Advanced Chart>Default Chart)

If you have added any studies and then set this as the default chart then please follow the below to change this:

Right click your chart, Remove All Studies.
    Set Time frame to Daily.
Right click the chart and go to Time Templates, set this to something like 1 or 2 Day Tick.
Right click the chart and go to Style Templates and Set as Default.

    6. Now change the chart that you are having troubles with, to the correct tick increment (e.g. 233T, etc) and the bars SHOULD load. Once loaded you can change back to your normal page (Page>Open Page) and the bars should be loaded there for you

    Kind Regards,
