  • Intra-day 1-minute data - is this data series growing each day?

    Hello,

For symbol R 1!-EIR on a 1 minute bar timeframe I'm able to get around 120 days of good quality historical data. I need to know if this data series for this symbol is in fact currently growing each day? or is this series of data always fixed at around 120 days?

The answer to this question is very important to our trading company.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards

    Rod

    Hey Rod,

The 120 days of Intraday data you're receiving is the maximum of days of stored data we keep at this time.

Please read this KB article for the breakdown of the different types of data and how much of each is stored on the eSignal servers.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.

      hello,

      thank you for your reply.

Just one other question: What about for data on a daily time-frame. I see on on e-signal's website it says it stores 8 years of daily data for most non-usa exchanges. Is this 8 years of data fixed, or is it growing each day? (that is for "Daily" data).

      Thank you in advance.

      Regards

      Rod

Daily data keeps growing. We have some futures data back to the 70's while for some newer exchanges, may only have a few years. No plans to limit the capture of daily OHLCV.

        Thanks.
