I'm trying to do an advanced chart with these symbols. The symbols without "=1" all work fine (CL 1!, for example). CL Z9=1, etc. also work fine. CL 1!=1 displays new ticks going forward, but no past ticks or data, even for the current trading session - which is pointless. I get no data for GC 1!=1, SI 1!=1, HG 1!=1. Note I do not get invalid symbol for any of them.
I'm running a fresh install of eSignal 10.5.1721a (9-23-09) and all the Continuous Contracts for everything seem to be set up properly. I even looked at the [user-]rollprefs.tab files just be sure. Just doesn't seem to work.
Using the =1 is important, since I don't want bad ticks from the pit trading mixed in with the Globex session.
Are continuous contracts for a specific session/exchange broken or am I missing something?
