I realize that, at least per the Knowledgebase, eSignal currently has no ability to import data from external sources and you guys have no immediate plans to add it.
Is this still the case or will things change with version 11? I currently use esignal for my data but other software for my charting, though it looks like the ESig software has been improving and I'm thinking of moving back. The ability to import third-party or backed-up data would be a huge plus, especially for tick data, considering the very limited history eSignal makes available. Personally, I've gotten into the habit of maintaining my own tick-data backups for instruments I trade.
...and on that point, could we get a status update on the extended tick data project?
