  • Questions for Jay H

To Jay H [or one of the other board adjudicators]:

I would appreciate your assistance with the following 2 questions:

1] The first chart shows a clearly erroneous price print [on Monday] -- does e-Signal not apply some mechanism to catch such errors?

2] The second chart shows daily pivot lines [R1, R2, etc.,]. Today's pivot values are shown in the right-hand margin. What must one do to:

    (a) have today's pivots appear as unbroken single lines running back across the screen?

    (b) as above, but with the lines only showing for the trading day in question [today].

    Thank you,

    pot

Re: Questions for Jay F [2nd request]

To Jay F [or one of the other board adjudicators]:

I am still hoping to have my e-Signal 11 beta questions [posted Wednesday, Jan 26] answered. Thank you.

      Hi,

Was the bad tick tail evident in 10.6 as well? CID's should automatically be applied to your chart in 11 while it's a setting in 10.6.

One advantage of pushing 11 to production is that our support teams are now in a position to take support calls on ver 11 and directly compare with 10.6 if an issue arises. During beta, we direct feedback to either email or a special beta forum.

I think it's probably best to call us and we can work more directly with you on these questions.

      Thanks.

        Scott:

        Thanks for your response.

Yes, I believe the 'bad' price print also showed up in Version 10.6.

When you say "it's probably best to call us" regarding my questions, who or which department/unit should be called? I am asking because I initially spoke with Technical Support, and they suggested I contact this board.

If I can ask you to take another peek at the second chart in my original question. Are these R1, R2, etc., pivot lines a possible eSignal bug? My non-eSignal platform shows these lines running back at the actual pivot values appearing in the right-hand margin.

        Thank you again.
