  • 13 Min Chart Problem

    I created two Time Templates for central time Zone:

    •The first one, I manually put start time and end time to 08:30 and 15:00
    •The second one, I just checked the Automatic start/end times

    For both templates when market start my 13min chart waits until 8:33 to start but if you look at the cursor window once the candle opens it shows that the candle opened at 8:30. All other interval charts start correctly at 8:30. (I recreated the 13 min chart to see if that fixed the problem, same problem)

    I know it's happening for sure on KLAC, BRCM and others

    Why is that happening?

    Hi ketoma,

    I can't say why that's happening, never heard of that one before. However, I will pass this on to QA for testing. Also, I'll do a test of it myself. I'll create the two time templates and have them on several charts tomorrow at the open and see if that happens to me.

    Will update tomorrow on what we find.

      It’s not a new problem to me it’s been happening ever since I subscribed to esignal, (about a year ago).

      I also tried changing my computer time zone to Eastern Time zone and used the default Equity RTH – East Coast but the same problem with the 13 min chart.

      Let see what happens tomorrow.

        O.K., I saw it. Happened just as you say. I'll forward my finding on to QA and we'll look into fixing this.

            More then a year past and still the problem is there the 13min chart.

            With every update to esignal ever since I've been hoping that the problem would be fix but it's still there.

              We will need to test this while the market is open and the issues are trading. What version of eSignal are you currently using?

                Currently I'm running Esignal 7.8.

                same thing happens on 7.7, 7.6, 7.5, 7.4, 7.3, 7.2, 7.1
