    Hello, is the ticker

    ES U1=2

    supposed to plot only regular trading hours? It seems to be plotting extended hours as well.

    I want daily bars from 9:30am EST to 4:15pm EST.

    Yes the =2 does seperate the day session from the overnight on the intraday charts. A daily bar does not take =2 into consideration for the OHLC. The daily bar consist of all the data from the entire trading session (15:30 - 15:15 CST).

      how do i get a daily bar that reflects the day session only?

      wasn't the daily bar of ES U1=2 only plotting the day session before?

        I apologize for not getting back to you sooner on this. You are correct in that the =2 should only display the day(pit) session of trading. Last week we did run into some issue with the Tick server with regard to the =2 and that they were storing the entire day of intraday data.

        Our QA department has gone through and removed the extra data so you should only see the day session with the =2 symbol now.

        Once agian I apologize for the delay and the miscommunication.
