  • es #f 40 days of tick data

Is the Historical Option capable of providing tick data for the last 40 days for the ES future contract?

North American Futures 10 days 120 days 40 days

    on page http://www.esignal.com/esignal/features.aspx

seems to say so, but i thought i would double check

yes, if you add the extended intraday history to your account you are able to bring up 40 days of tick data.
    Thank you,

You can export that data on a symbol by symbol basis, from a chart into a CSV or HTML file.

I signed up for the Historical Data.

Is there an easy way to pull up a chart of ES #F, 1T for the last 40 days?

            tick charts

A 1T chart is going to take quite sometime to load in the program. The easiest way to do this is to create a 40 day time template.

            creating a time template

            eSignal 10.6:

-Right click in your chart and select time templates
-click on edit and then click new template
-Give the new template a name and click Ok
-Click the Type drop down menu and select user defined
-in the interval box type in T and in the number of days type in 40
-Click the update/add button and then click close on the time templates window
-right click in your chart, go to time templates and select the template you just created

            eSignal 11:

-Right click in your chart and select time templates
-click on edit and then click the Plus sign in the upper left
-Give your new template a name by typing it next to Name
-Uncheck Dynamic under Data Range and type in 40 and select days
-Click on the template you created in the left hand menu and click the check mark in the upper left to select this template.
            -close the time template window

Once you have a 40 day time template created you can change the chart interval to 1T to start the chart loading. It's going to take some time to build 40 days of tick data. We are still in the process of server upgrades that will help in loading this data much faster.
            Thank you,
            Eric O.

I tried this but there seemed to be a lot of days missing, can you check to see if you actually get 40 days of charts? I was trying to create an es #f, 1t chart with the time template as you described

Yes, I am able to bring up 40 days of data. How many days are missing from the chart that you are trying to bring up?
                Thank you,
                Eric O.
