No Daily Volume but Intraday Volume

Hello,

I was wondering why I can not see volume data such as volume bars or the accumulation/distribution indicator whenever I select the daily time-frame but I can see the volume data if I select an intraday time-frame such as 60-min.

It affects UK indices (e.g $UKX-FTSE) & UK sector indices ($NMX2710-FTSE).

Are these intraday volume data reliable? How can I get the daily chart to display the volume data?

The volume numbers you are seeing on intraday charts are not actual volume. That is the number of updates these symbols have gotten in the allotted time period. We do not get true volume from the exchange on these indices.

Thats a real shame about the lack of volume for these indices.
