The session of Jan. 2, 2012 seems to be missing from the Extended Historical Intraday Data in the Swedish Index OMXS30 Futures January contract: OMXS30 F2012-OMF.
I'm not able to duplicate this issue here. It's possible that this data is missing on one of our servers. Please use the report a questionable price feature from within the eSignal program to report issues like this while you are connected. Thank you
Sorry, I cannot find the questionable price feature. The only eSignal software I use is the Data Manager (3rd party data only subscription). I was able to obtain the previously missing data but now it seems to be missing again. This is what I see:
Tick Server Status: TSDAYS=120 TSSYSTEM=TICKSRVHATQ-H04 TSCAPS=81. Tick History: Extended
Downloading 1 Minute data for OMXS30 F2012-OMF from 01/02/2012 09:00 to 01/02/2012 17:30
No Bar Data Available for "OMXS30 F2012-OMF" Tick Server Error -11
Also, it would be wonderful if there where historical intraday data further back than Oct. '08 which now seems to be the limit backwards. I guess I have to live with that but data going back to July '07 would be optimal.
we are always working to expand how far our data goes back so this is something that we are working on. I don't have any details on when this will be made available yet. Thank you
The link actually requires you to fill in the eSignal window in which you are experiencing a problem, of the eSignal software, which I don't have except for Data Manager (3rd party data only subscription).
My concern regarding historical intraday data was that it doesn't go as far back as "specified" in pricing information ('OMXS30 MY-OMF' goes back to Oct. '08 vs. Mar. '07 for "European futures").
I realize that this is a small and insignificant instrument but for volume profiling purposes it would make all the difference to have access to intraday price/volume data going back to early 2007 before the latest great decline.
These bad prices can still be reported via the questionable price reporter so that we can look into them. Just select chart as the window that they appear in. Thank you
Like I said before, I don't have any eSignal charts, windows or software other than the Data Manager since I only subscribe to the data feed (3rd party data only subscription) for feeding charting software other than eSignal.
the questionable price reporter isn't just for clients that use the eSignal software. That's what I was getting at, you can use that link regardless of the program you are using as long as you are using eSignal's data.
In the questionable price reporter there is a required field "Product" with drop-down menu alternatives: eSignal, Advanced GET, Market-Q, Workstation, QCharts, LiveCharts and QuoTrek, none of which applies to the software I'm running.
Select eSignal here and Select chart for the window. This should allow the report to go through so that we can take a look at the data we are getting on our end and fix it if we see any issues with it.
