Index Options quotes?

I took a quick look through the archives, but could not find much.

Say I wanted to trade SPX and NDX index options, through E-Signal. Can I get quotes for this with the e-mini package, if not what package do I need, and how in the name of all that is holy do I figure out expiry and strike price when trying to load this into a chart.

Hi arbifox,

You'll need to subscribe to either eSignal RT or eSignal Platinum to get access to OPRA ( Index and Equity Options ). Here's a matrix that explains what exchanges are available with each level of eSignal service.

Once you add OPRA to your service, the easiest way to find the underlying options is to right click on the root symbol ($SPX, $NDX, IBM, etc. ) and choose Options Montage. You can also use the CBOE Symbol Directory to look-up specific option contracts.
