Problems When Submitting A Post

Since few days when I submit a post I receive this:

Warning: Failed to connect to mailserver, verify your "SMTP" setting in php.ini in c:\program files\apache group\apache\htdocs\admin\functions.php on line 2588

which I exeperienced even in the past.

This was a problem with our Forum server connecting to our mail server, and was also causing the email notification not to work. We have corrected the problem, so hopefully this won't come back anytime soon.
