    Scott

The only thing that worries me is that the 5th May open on the day chart for the dax (and smi) at 7:55am tomorrow morning will not be the same tomorrow afternoon.

This can create efs signal problems in the morning that are resolved later in the day if the study is reloaded.

Its almost as if tomorrow morning, the 5th May bar is being overwritten.

I just monitored this before / while the Dax started trading: The FDAX on a daily chart showed an opening of 4009.50 while a 10 minute chart showed 3983 (for yesterday, 2004-05-05). I then saw to my astonishment that the daily chart did not plot a new bar, but instead plotted the new prices as if belonging to yesterday's bar.

I then changed the time template for the daily bar

      Type : user defined
      Interval: D
      # of Days: 0 (dynamic).

And this seems to make all the difference.

I have an intraday interval defined for my default template. When I open a chart and switch the interval to "D" it looks like this is not sufficient, the time template has to be changed to a "daily" template too.

I can easily reproduce this effect.

      Have a nice day
