Index to track Oil

I have been hearing that Stock Index futures have been taking it's que from Oil.

Is there an Oil index symbol available that tracks the price of oil?

Here are a few different Oil Index symbols that may be what you are looking for.

$OIX: Oil-CBOE

$XOI: Oil-AMEX

These index symbols track the oil stocks, but is there any index on esignal that tracks the PRICE OF OIL itself?

As far as I know the only symbol available in eSignal for Crude spot is $XWTI-IDX (Platt's West Texas Intermediate). In the image you can see the daily chart with an overlay of the continuous contract for CL (in blue).
Note that this symbol is for daily data only and requires the subscription to the World Indices package.
