Measuring Dollars on a Price Bar

Could you please tell me how to measure the amount of dollars on a price bar or beyond. I was told that I could use the "fib ret" on eSignal 8.1 and that it would show $'s, so I loaded it, but it does not. What tool can I use to accomplish my task.

You can measure the distance [in points] between two points of a chart using the Segment Line tool with the Price Ruler option enabled (see enclosed image).

This looks really useful, EXCEPT for forex. Any chance that the number of decimal places could be changed to 4 from 3 (or is there a way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?).
