Suppose I took the 100 largest by volume
(or other characteristic) members of the S& P 500 and stored them in some list or other means.

Is there a way to plot the intraday gain loss statistic of this group of 100 in a
way equivalent to say the $ADD ?

If not is this something that is planned for in the future??

    Thanks H. Hampton

I ran into a similar problem with some sector analysis. eSignal only allows a max of 8 (I believe) symbols per script.

So, you could write a basic script that updated a global variable(s). Duplicate this 12 times or so and then write a script that took the global variables, did a final calculation and plotted the results. It's not as bad as it sounds.

Although it may not be directly related to what you're looking to do, we do have two new items coming in the next 1-2 releases that may be of interest. Using code from the legacy QCharts service, we'll be introducing Hot Lists and Breadthalyzer stats to eSignal to help monitor the larger market picture.

Hoping to have Hot Lists for the 10.4 release but that's not a sure thing yet.

      Thanks.
