  • Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

    Hi,
    When I have a lot of Advanced Charts open which are displaying 1 minute Time Intervals (it only seems to occur in this Time Interval), I frequently get the following Error Window, and sebsequently have to shut down and restart eSignal:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Runtime error!

    Program: C:\Program Files\eSignal\WinSig.exe

    R6025
    - pure virtual function call

    Is there any solution to this?

    Thanks,
    Paul

    I apologize for the delay in responding to your issue, I've been trying to duplicate it so that I could better troubleshoot what might be happening.

    Couple of questions;

    Can you let me know about how often you're getting this Window error?

    What version of eSignal are you currently using?

    About how many Charts are you work with?

    What version of Windows are you using?

    Thanks in advanced

      Hi Avery,
      Thanks for your reply.

      I changed my Hardware set up last week from:

      3 x LCD Monitors and 1 x VGA Monitor
      to:
      4 x LCD Monitors

      Since doing this I have not recieved the error message (or a couple of others i was getting) when running eSignal.

      I don't know whether my Computer was having issues with the mix of LCD and VGA Monitors, or the different Display Resolutions.

      So, this seems to have solved the problem to date. If the error messages return again, i will update this post.

        TURTLE,

        Thanks for the update I'll keep and eye out. It may have been driver conflicts or even the refresh rate.

        I'm glad to hear you're at least not getting error any longer.
