  • Problem with eSignal 10.3

    Hi,
I have just installed eSignal version 10.3.1491.1162 (1/30/2009), and my Spread Symbols are not being displayed - it shows "Inv Symbol" in white with a red backgroud at the top of the Cursor Window, and it occurs in all time intervals.

Based on what I am seeing spreads appear to be working at my end using 10.3.1491
You may want to provide an example of a spread that is not working for you so that someone else can try to replicate the issue under the same conditions

      Thanks for your reply Alex

      The following Spreads work fine:

      Number / Symbol
      (eg: 1 / eur a0-fx)
      Number * Symbol
      (eg: 1 * eur a0-fx)
      Number - Symbol
      (eg: 1 - eur a0-fx)
      Number + Symbol
      (eg: 1 + eur a0-fx)

The following does not work now, but it has for the past 3+ years that i have been using it in all of my custom spreads:

      Number*Symbol
      (eg: 5.55'eur a0-fx' or 1.45AAPL)

It is no longer working because the method required to apply a weight has changed starting with version 10.2
You may want to review the note regarding this change in this article on spreads in the eSignal KnowledgeBase
