After upgrading from 10.3 to 10.4 I noticed that eSignal won't start. The process WinSig was up and running, taking 99% of one processor of my CPU. But DataManager would not load and the software not execute correctly.
I tried to reinstall several times and nothing changed, until I decided to uninstall the software and remove my former preferences. Then it worked A-OK.
I suspect that having changed the directories where eSignal is looking for studies/formulas was the reason for perturbation.
In case you face the same issue, do not forget to backup your formulas and remove your preferences while removing the previous version. Then a clean install should make it for you too.
