Weird problem with the quote window

I seem to be unable to enter the characters A, B, C and S in the quote window (in the symbol field) unless I hold down the shift key. I am using 10.5.

I can enter all other characters in the quote window both uppercase and lowercase.

This is only happening in the quote window. The keyboard has no problem.

Very odd. Have you tried starting a fresh page and quote window? Reminds me of the old days when we had to look-out for TSR applications (terminate stay resident) that used to create weird conflicts like this.

Here's another test. Enter the symbols in a portfolio window and then save those as a shared symbol list. Now go back to a quote window and load that shared list. Does it load OK?
